This data is collected through PostHog, our analytics service.

Newsletters: if you are an existing customer we will keep your data for newsletters for 2 years after your last order. If you are not an existing customer and you have given your consent for the newsletters, then we will keep your data until you withdraw your consent.

Article 8 – Mobile Application

8.1. In addition to our Website, Alpilex Diamond Mfg offers a mobile application (“App”) available on the Apple App Store. The App allows you to browse, search, and purchase diamonds, manage your account, and contact our support team.

8.2. The App collects the same personal data as our Website for account registration, orders, and customer support (Categories 1 through 5 above). In addition, the App collects usage data as described in Category 6.

8.3. Analytics in the Mobile Application

The App uses PostHog, a product analytics platform, to collect anonymous usage data. PostHog processes the following data:

An anonymous device identifier (not linked to your identity)
Your account identifier (when you are logged in)
Product interactions: which products you view, add to cart, or search for
Purchase events: order identifier and order total
Search queries and filter usage
Technical error data for diagnosing issues

This data helps us improve the App experience, fix technical issues, and understand which features are most useful to our customers.

PostHog processes data on servers in the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for this transfer, including Standard Contractual Clauses.

8.4. The App does not use cookies, Google Analytics, Facebook tracking, or any advertising or remarketing services. The App does not track you across other apps or websites.

8.6. The App uses Tawk.to for live chat support, as described in Article 7. Chat messages are processed by tawk.to ltd. in the United Kingdom.

8.7. The App uses a native email function for the contact form. When you send a message, it opens your device’s email application. We do not collect or store the content of these messages within the App itself.
